Once every 20 years, the Samaritan yearly ritual of sacrificing the lamb after Passover, occurs during daylight. The pictures below were taken of this ritual in 1934. There is a large gathering of not only Samaritans but also many spectators. Except for the first picture which shows the High Commissioner of Palestine, Sir Arthur Voulkup, no further discussions of the pictures will be made. Look for the lamb with the black hood.
