Triangles is the first project of its kind, taking three groups of adults learners
from diverse geographic locations. The group will take place at Alma College
in Tel Aviv, The Tel Chai Institute I in the north of Israel, and Lerhaus Judaica
in San Francisco. The objectives of the Triangles project are not only to introduce
participants to the interactive study of texts, but also allow participants from three
diverse locations to "meet" and learn together, through the media of the Internet
and videoconference. The topic of this year's Triangles program is The Exodus
from Egypt. The group will deal with issues such as: the journey to freedom, being
part of a people hood and being excluded, a look at different leadership models
and more. The studies will begin from the Biblical text and will expand to look at
different modern perspectives.
